i cannot send, manually or through fserve. I have no router

Postby kestrada » Tue Jul 27, 2004 4:08 am

Please help. I cannot seem to send anything. I have no router, i have xp and my firewall is disabled. I have called the manufacturer of the modem, and they said there are no firewalls in that. I have called my isp, and they told me that there is nothing on their end blocking me from sending. I have reinstalled mirc and invisions twice. When i try to send, it fails. When ppl go to my fserve, they cannot find any files in my folder. Actually none of the commands work. I have tried to use multiple folders from different locations on my computer, that did not help. Please if you have any ideas, i am open! Thanks!

I have a Westell model 2200. I went to the site yesterday, and was able to look at my connection? (i dont really know if connection is the right word) And the firewall is disabled. I have dsl through verizon. I am at home on just one computer, not hooked up to any other computer, and i do not share my internet connection.

Sorry to be a pain, ty for the help!

Thanks for your help, i went to that site. But it did not work. So i called up my isp again. They bridged my connection. (i do not know what that means, but that is what they did.) That worked great. The only difference i can see is that i must log on every time i connect. But i can send just perfect now!!

Thanks for all your help. If i would not have went to that web site, i would have never of figured it all out!!
