Sounds like you were disconnected from the server and the settings weren't saved. When this happens you'll see a msg like

***disconnected
------------------------------------------
--I-n-v-i-s-i-o-n-- Settings Not Saved
------------------------------------------
or

*** [10053] Software caused connection abort
------------------------------------------------------
*** Disconnected
------------------------------------------------------
--I-n-v-i-s-i-o-n-- Settings Not Saved
------------------------------------------------------

which usually happens when you ping out (lose your connection to the net - and yes, this happens with "always connected" types of broadband too) .. when you're disconnected from the server, Invision will try to reconnect you, and when reconnected, sometimes you lose some of the settings.

However, you'll prolly find that if you restart Invision manually, the settings return.

As to the chanserv/nickserv rightclick options .. it sounds like you have loaded an additional script (unless there's a new script for Invision that I dont have yet LOL) .. which is why its right down the bottom of the rightclick menu.

If the options disappear again, and dont return when you restart Invision, you can try to manually load the script by doing the following:

Tools -- Aliases

MAKE A BACKUP COPY BEFORE EDITING ANYTHING IN HERE!!!!

now that you have made a backup copy of the Aliases, press CTRL-END to take you to the end of the scripts, press ENTER twice ..

in the mIRC editor go
File - Load
browse for the script you want to load, click ok
File - Save
Invision - Save all settings

Of course I dont recommend newbies load scripts they're not sure of, and always backup both the entire Invision folder AND the aliases you're playing with

good luck
