Nope that still didn't get my sounds, all I get now is a little *dink* whenever new text arrives and I've scrolled up a bit :?

I'm pretty sure it has something to do with there being no files in the \mIRC\sounds folder

edit: ok I've now got it making standard beeps for dcc fails etc, but its not exactly the "D C C File Transfer Fail" sound that I was after :?

any help?

ok, i have nothing in my mirc/sounds folder BUT i do have sound files in my invision\Invision\Themes\Sounds\Default folder. check to see if you have them also.

to make the sound works, you have to be connected to an irc server and maybe one channel, any channel. if you try to check the sounds while NOT connected and even if you do save the settings, you will not get sound. you HAVE to be connected to a server and a channel. then select the sounds you want to hear and THEN save the settings in invision. see if that works...

ok I did as you said. but I still don't seem to get any voices :?
I looked in that folder and when I tried to play the .wav files there was a 'problem encountered' :o
the mp3 versions play fine though.
is there a way in the options to change the playback from the .wav files to the .mp3 ones?

oakkkkkkkkkkkkaay, try this theen......

goto invision menu, go down to theme settings, and from there you can change the sounds file from wav to mp3....

since you say your wav doesn't work when clicked on, then there might be something wrong with your computer or windows, i don't know what it is but it is a problem. if you can't play wav file in windows, then it is a problem. but try the mp3 thing and see if that works, if not, the you have problem.
