can't connect PLEASE HELP!!

I can not connect to ANY efnet servers I receive the following error:

(Invalid username [])

that is NOT my username (nick) either......

I was able to connect yesterday, now every one comes back with that or You are not authorized to use this server

when you connect type /nick yournick
also check you rnicks in your options connect to see if they are correct that should fix ya

I wish that fixed me! I have this in the IDENT section
WICK3d (also tried wicked, and WICKed)
as my nick I have W|CK3d and W|ck3d^ (also tried wicked and wicked1)

still get (Invalid username []) no matter what. This seems to happen every time I upgrade the mIrc or invision. The other time a reboot fixed it, but this time nothing seems to do it! PLEASE help, I would like to chat again!

Now I am shot out on all three of my PCs. I NEVER changed anything from what it used to be. I get that error msg on ALL of them now. even if I use regular mIRC with no addons.

I've even tried abcde in the IDENT area as well as putting nothing there.
This is now very very annoying!!!!!

FYI - if it helps this is mainly only from efnet - I am able to connect to Undernet!
