ok this is starting to annoy me

Postby MeHoo » Fri Aug 08, 2003 10:51 am

when i join my servers with my script.. it joins fine, i also figured out how not to capture the server notices, etc. BUT.. that stupid responder 'thanks for the @' or whatever is so lame and annoying and it WONT stay off. its turned off in settings but its still staying it once in a while. WTH is going on? i whine about lamers who use that all the time and now i cant stop it. nice irony.

and for that topic most of the settings reset themselves once in a while too. any help would be appreciated this is just getting annoying, and i tried uninstalling it and still had some features that wouldnt go away without a clean uninstall of MIRC too, so looks like im stuck. i checked all of the files in my mirc dir, and none are read only so im confused. it just randomly decides when to say things when i clearly have them off on global, and each individual window. i checked them all.

also sometimes it shows repeated things.. for instance:

> Channel Modes: +smtnk [password]
> Created on Friday, June 27th, 2003 at 12:42am
> Channel Modes: +smtnk [password]
> Created on Friday, June 27th, 2003 at 12:42am

why does it do that twice? thats not a big deal at all but this responder thing is annoying.. can i disable it altogether and not ever have it even come on? like in the script or something?

thanks

those are probably jus a few bugs in the script. what version of invision are u using, make sure u use build 2520 and apply the bug fixes after u install it. u can get em from the invision download sites or the support channel on irc, but i don't have the addy atm, search around.

1. If you use multiple networks, you will need to focus each network and set the auto-responder off for each.

2. The double reply is the server, not the script
