McAfee SiteAdvisor update

Postby Riamus » Tue Jun 23, 2009 6:31 am

If you are using McAfee's SiteAdvisor, you may notice our pages are red right now. This is because we had a link to a free MD5 checking program so you could make sure you got the real file from our site. The file was hosted on another site that McAfee considers bad. The actual file was perfectly safe and the link was a direct download link for that file rather than a link to their page where you might be able to download files that aren't good. I've changed the link to a "safe" download location link for a different MD5 checker, but McAfee hasn't updated their SiteAdvisor page yet. You can just ignore what it says. If you have any questions, let us know. Also, if it worries you at all, keep in mind that only links to the site they mention are listed as "bad" on our pages, so just don't go off-site with any links and you are fine. :)
You can find me at #Invision on irc.irchighway.net or #OldGames on irc.undernet.org if you need me for anything.
