Try a new, clean install (Full Bundle) without any other scripts loaded.
You can find me at #Invision on irc.irchighway.net or #OldGames on irc.undernet.org if you need me for anything.

Where do you have it installed? And is that Vista?

Vista is most likely your problem. If you're not using mIRC 6.3, then I'd suggest updating to that and see if it helps. Previous versions of mIRC have many bugs with Vista.

You can try this test and see what happens...

Alt-R > Alt-R > View menu > imisc.mrc > Ctrl-G to goto line 87.

Code: Select all
      say $replace(%saystr,§¨©,$chr(36),§¨ª,$chr(37))

Before that line, insert a new line:

Code: Select all
      echo -a Text: %saystr -- Changed: $replace(%saystr,§¨©,$chr(36),§¨ª,$chr(37))

Don't replace anything, just insert that line and try typing in a channel. It should echo some information. Make a new screenshot of what happens for me. (You can name it the same as one of your screenshots above and just replace it. I can look up for the updated image).
You can find me at #Invision on irc.irchighway.net or #OldGames on irc.undernet.org if you need me for anything.
