Has anyone tried the new version of mIRC with Invision? Are there new compatibility issues? Am I still better off using 6.14?

Yes, i would like to know too if mirc 6.17 is currently ok with invision 3515
and whats happening with invision and the new mirc

Ive installed mIRC.6.17 with InvisioN 2 build 3515, and everything seems to be fine so far, Brilliant !!
theres no error messages, script errors or nothing, im pleased with it so far
although early days yet, ive only been using it for a few minutes
will keep posted

has anyone elsed tried it yet, let us know

everything seems to work fine so far... using invision for the past 225 days and installed mIRC 6.17 over it on sunday, still works fine

I have freshly installed MiRc 6.17 and invision 3515 just yesterday and so far have had no problems except for when i freshly installed them it changed the a setting...

When you display your total bandwidth, it now displayed it as CPS not KBs.

I was wondering if anyone knew how i could change it from displaying my bandwidth in Cps to displaying it in Kbs again ?>??

CPS = Characters Per Second

To change it back> Main Settings > ADV > Convert Bitrate.... (also should do the convert bytes as well).

NOTE: If you want to use 6.17, you should make all the changes mentioned for 6.16. Otherwise, you'll have some issues. We still do recommend using 6.14, but if you do the 6.16 fixes, you should be okay.

If you use the search link at the top and search the bugs forum for 6.16, you should find them. Most of the problems are related to the fserv, if I remember correctly. I'm sorry I don't have time right now to go looking through them to see all the changes. Sometime, when I have time, I'll put up a sticky with all 6.16+ changes.
