Connecting thru a BNC

Why is it that Invision loses settings if I disconnect the BNC from my server? Hitting save does nothing. When it reconnects, I have to reset to my personal settings and it's getting annoying.

not quite sure I understand you.
A BNC is a server you connect to, not that you connect to a server.
If you mean one you connect to, then connect to another server, then create a new connection in file > option > connect
Name it BNC or something like that, all the settings will be saved, you can also add any login info into your perform list...
