recovering channels

is there a way i can recall my list of channels without importing settings?

If you installed over your old script then no, if you installed to a new folder then you could open both scripts look at one then make the ajustments to the other.

open the actual script and then copy them over

If you are talking about channels that you have added to the mIRC Channels Dialog thing (i think ALT + J) then open the mirc.ini file in the mirc directory and on the tail end of the file (use notepad) you will see a *section* called "[chanfolder]" and in that section is all the lines like n0= n1= and so on that have your channels and there info. YOu need to copy and past that section to the new mirc.ini file. Note that a section in an INI file is indicated by being placed in brackets. The section continues in the file until it encounters another section name being in brackets.
