Two connections to same server...only want fserv running 1

Postby r3v3LaT1oN » Sat Aug 02, 2003 8:26 am

I have two connections to same servers...two server windows. I start fserve running on the first one, yet the second one also starts a fserve. i do not want this. is there a way to work around this? am i doing something wrong? I wish the fserve to run only on one of the server, and the other connected to the same server, but not running the fserve.

This also results in a simultaneous sending of two files even though i set fserve send limit to 1. one sends on the server with fserve, the other on the server without. i hope someone can help.

are you using the same mirc/invision for both connections?
or are you using two mirc clients
if your using the same client (directory as well) both will have the fserve running, you need to make a new dir and run a seperate invision, one for fserve one for yourself
